For September we have a very special speaker with a unique career to share. Ernest Williams is an Air Force veteran serving through 1955 as a nuclear device expert. He also spent 37 years as an employee of the Atomic Energy Commission in various capacities also dealing mostly with nuclear weapons.
He served at various strategic locations for the AEC including Enewetok Atoll, Marshall Islands, Bikini Atoll, Christmas Island (TDY) and the Nevada Test site.
He has many serious experiences to share as well as many antidotes. You will find Ernest to be a delightful and animated gentleman.
After retirement he spends his time as a volunteer Docent at the Atomic Testing Museum. He also teaches a counter- terrorism course as well as speaks to middle school students about patriotism. He also is a lifetime member of VFW Post 10047 in Las Vegas.
