Red Flag

For February we will have Lt Col David Seitz, 57th Operations Group deputy commander, as our guest speaker to present the current status and history of Operation Red Flag staged in the wide expanses of Nellis AFB.

Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise involving the United States and its allies. All 4 U.S. military services, including Guard/Reserve components participate. Since 1975, 28 countries have joined the U.S. in these exercises. Red Flag has provided more than 440,000 military pilots and support personnel with the training to excel in air combat maneuvering (ACM) borne out unacceptable performance during the Vietnam War versus previous conflicts.

Do not miss this very special and informative presentation involving U.S. Air Force activity right in our own backyard. See you on February 9th, 1900 hrs. in the Delaware Room.
