Blue Star Mothers of Henderson & Boulder City NV4 are collecting items to fill hundreds of handmade Christmas stockings to send “A Piece of Home” to local soldiers deployed abroad through their Stockings 4 Our Troops project.
PLEASE DROP OFF YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS IN THE COLLECTION BARRELS LOCATED IN THE ANTHEM CENTER.

Monetary donations are also helpful. They will need the funds to mail all these care packages. It costs $20.40 to ship 1 USPS Large Flat Rate Box filled with 2 stockings. Books of Stamps can also be used for postage. The Chapter estimates this year’s shipping cost to be around $14,000 dollars. This year Blue Star Mothers NV4 has a Special Request - AUCTION ITEMS!! BSM will partner with Mondays Dark on Monday, NOV 8, 2021, to raise money for Stockings 4 Our Troops. They are looking to secure auction items ranging from gift baskets, gift cards, home services, show tickets, game tickets, memorabilia, adventure tours, amusement parks, resort and spa/salon packages, destination locations, golf packages, etc. They are also accepting monetary donations to purchase auction items as needed.
