On behalf of the Sun City Anthem Veterans Club, I want to thank all those who attended the presentation of the award-winning film, “Flat Daddy.”
More than 200 people participated in this event, which raised more than $1,500 to help support the club’s donations to local organizations serving military members and their families.
Ticket holders also attended the post-screening reception, where they enjoyed refreshments and had the opportunity to talk with Henderson resident Marina Vance and her daughter, who are featured in “Flat Daddy.”
At the end of the film, Veterans Club President Roger Cooper presented a $500 check, representing a portion of the proceeds, to the Blue Star Mothers of Henderson & Boulder City.
